The transitional period between winter and spring is awkward, isn’t it? No longer cold enough to warrant breaking out the big guns – sturdy work and hiking boots – but not yet warm enough to bare your feet in that new pair of burnished leather sandals either. So what’s the solution? Much like your wardrobe, your footwear collection will benefit from a few key additions to take you through this difficult in-between phase in style. These are two new pairs of boots I have recently added to my footwear collection from Dune : Men’s Suede Chukka and Chelsea boots.
1st outfit : Marlin-Stone Chukka boots
One of the toughest decisions we all face – no matter the season – is what the hell to wear on our feet for a night out, or for an event. I have styled the Chukka boots with a more casual grey suit and throw a light camel coat over. Honestly , no matter of dapper or casual style I could always wear Grey and Camel mixed together.
2nd outfit : Maritime-Brown Chelsea boots
If all you’re likely to battle is a brisk springtime breeze then a pair of suede Chelsea boots would be the perfect choice. For these boots I have chosen a smart-casual all black outfit and of course why not a fedora hat as well. Suede chelsea still communicate the formality of a classic leather chelsea boots, but are lighter, much more spring-appropriate and will add natural texture to any look.
